‘1995’ is the latest track from West Irish artist Holly Macve. It’s a beautiful, hopeful release that captures a sense of dream-like optimism. Cinematic, melodic piano underpins her distinctive voice throughout, before strings and layers of harmony arrive to thicken the warm textures. The track “was written on the same piano as ‘Suburban House’, and about 6 months prior, so little did I know the ship was about to be rocked.  But I think I managed to encapsulate that content feeling into the song and I just hope people will feel that when they listen.” ‘1995’ is the latest track to be shared from her forthcoming EP, Time Is Forever, which is due for release on February 2nd, 2024 via Loving Memory Records / Believe. -Dan Peeke
